Been wanting to try this place every time I’m in PV but never made it. Walked here from 5D and it was well worth it. The maracuya mezcalita has delicious flavour, wasn’t very frozen when they brought it to me so melted quickly but not a huge deal. The poke tuna tostada was unreal. I only had one as I’m planning to stop at my favourite fish taco spot as well before heading back to 5D. Nice views from the 2nd floor patio and fantastic and friendly service

Delicious seafood. I particularly loved the romantica filet -- the fish was good but the fried sweet potato surprisingly elevated the dish to new highs. It was a nice flavor combination.

Absolutely amazing tuna ceviche! Got the mango one. It was sooooooooooo good oh my gosh. It came on mashed avocado with big mango pieces on top. So flavourful and great texture. Mango sauce on the side as well. Already going to come back tomorrow maybe! Also got the shrimp ceviche. Pretty good but wouldn't order it again. Just cooked shrimp in a pico de gallo type situation. It was good, just not as delicious as the tuna. It came with tostadas to dip. Would highly recommend!

If you enjoy simple and fresh fish, you’ve got to try this spot. The ahi poke here was incredible. We also got the tamarind margarita and the crispy octopus tacos and those were amazing as well. Enrique was great at making recommendations and provided fantastic service. Highly recommend!

My favorite meal I’ve had in PV. Great service and awesome view to go with it. You must get the tuna - we got the ahi and it was buttery, flavorful, and delicious. Amazing avocado too. Shrimp tacos were good too, and ask for their homemade hot sauce! Going to be coming back for another meal before we leave this trip!

We went to Tuna Azul on a Monday evening. This restaurant is on the second floor [there is also a different restaurant on the bottom , street level] a block from the beach. There was a short wait. No big deal whatsoever. We ordered and shared tacos and the grilled Mahi Mahi . The tacos were a little soaked and soggy. The Mahi Mahi with garlic sauce was fabulous. So mixed results on the food. Service was kind and attentive. The decor and ambiance lacked quite a bit. I would consider giving this place another try but there was some good and not so good things about Tuna Azul.

I’ve been coming here since BEFORE I moved to PV years ago- Jesus and his team never disappoint! I’ve been working my way through the menu and never met a dish I didn’t like. I’ve also taken visitors here and they too, all love it. Kind staff, friendly, comfortable, quality dishes, and it’s a nice place to people watch if you get a table near the rails. Highly recommend! They all treat me, and my dog, like their family. Gracias por todo!

Tuna Azul was one of our favorite spots in Puerto Vallarta! The lobster tacos and ahi guacamole were absolutely amazing, and the bird’s-eye view of the city made every meal even more memorable. But the best part of our experience was the exceptional service, especially from Jonathan. We visited three times during our six-day stay and were lucky enough to have him as our waiter each time, he was sweet, fun, attentive, and truly made us feel like friends. We can’t wait to come back to Tuna Azul and see our friend Jonathan again!
